Creative expression calls on me, knocks on my heart, holds my hand and rocks me to sleep. It wakes me, it loves me. It accompanies me everywhere, even in the times i believed it left me.
This body of work called to me without words, but through a communicated energy exchange. In a quiet moment in my studio, I felt a surge of nothing and everything hit me all at once. the force that moved me to paint this body of work was quick and passionate. When I finished, I stepped back and admired the whirlwind I had created in just an hour.
It feels like this collection came from an intangible place, and I was lucky to capture it.
